If your department has determined it would like to set up a gift budget in order to provide loans to students and it’s already been determined that the main UW emergency loan program won’t suffice, a gift budget request must be completed asking for a loan fund. The Gift Services department will set up the budget, while Grant & Contract Accounting (GCA) will assign the fund a 70- budget number.
