Editor Training: Writing@UW

About Your Site

Production URLs:

The Writing@UW website is built and supported by the Web Services team in the College of Arts & Sciences. The site uses features and components from the main CAS website, artsci.washington.edu. Writing@UW faculty, staff, and students are responsible for managing the site content, while the Web Services team manages the software, site infrastructure, and site support.

All the content is organized into four main sections: About, For Students, For Faculty, and News. Take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the content that lives in each section, as well as the content that lives on the front page. It will help you understand the context of your editing.

Requesting Help or Advice

Use the Arts & Sciences web team support email asweb@uw.edu for ALL web-related inquiries and bug reports. These messages go into our ticketing system so all team members can view them, allowing for timely answers to questions. Do not write directly to the person who trained you.

If you need additional assistance with marketing or fundraising strategies, social media, or email newsletters, please contact CAS Marketing & Communications.
