Responsibilities include:
Ensure that departmental activities are in compliance with relevant university policies and applicable city, state, and federal laws
Work with appropriate campus units to promote a workplace that is as safe, hazard- and drug-free as possible.
- Safeguard the welfare of faculty, staff and students. Act as unit liaison with Safe Campus, the Office of Student Life, and UW Police when necessary
