Communications Strategy Consultation
Your unit has a compelling story to tell and an audience waiting to hear it. We want to help you share that story more effectively. To this end, we offer communications consultation to help you outline your goals and access the resources you need to achieve them. Submit a PIF to request a consultation for:
- Content promotion (stories, research findings, events, etc.)
- Launching or refreshing a newsletter
- Promoting student resources, courses and other opportunities
- Advancement/fundraising communications support (in collaboration with Advancement Services)
- Annual philanthropy, end of year solicitations and Husky Giving Day guidance and resources
Social Media Support
Your audiences are already on social media. But how do you leverage social as a tool of for meaningful engagement? Do you need your own social channels? What kind of content should you post and how often? We can help you answer these questions and more. Reach out to our team for:
- Guidance on starting social channels, growing audiences, and identifying content
- Social media partner promotion of key content (#PhilanthropyFriday posts, Cool Courses, events for ArtSci Roundup)

Engagement Programming & Promotion
Across our galleries, performance halls, lecture and community spaces, the College hosts hundreds of events a year (both in-person and virtual). These events are some of the best ways to connect with and expand your audience. Our team can help think through event programming, speakers, spaces and format. We can connect you to resources, other units and campus partners, and best practices. Event consultation and support includes:
- Help utilizing the Alumni Association’s Racial Equity Assessment tool to approach your event with a racial equity lens from the beginning of the planning process
- Audience development and outreach strategy
- Event promotion support (email, social media and traditional media promotion guidance
- Facilitating campus collaborations and partnerships
