Departmental IT Staff
Dean's Office Computer Workstation and IT Policy (Updated 2023)
The CAS IT group provides computing workstations for the Dean’s office staff. As of Summer 2023, the standard computer workstation will consist of a laptop, dock, a single or dual monitor setup, keyboard, and mouse. Dean’s office systems will be on 4–5 year replacement cycle.

This page is intended to communicate the Dean's Office Computer Workstation Lifecycle Policy and is applicable to the College of Arts and Sciences Dean's Office Staff. Please see below for information on what computer equipment is provided or replaced per our policy.
Map a Network Drive
Windows 10
- Open Windows Explorer (folder icon on the task bar)
- Right mouse click on "This PC" and select "Map network drive"
- Choose the drive letter for the shared drive you need to map.
- Enter the folder path
- Check the box for "reconnect at sign-in" and "connect using different credentials"
- Enter the following
Username: netid\[your netID]
Password: your netID password
