May-August: The Provost’s Office opens the hiring report and the Dean’s Office works to identify the outcome of the year’s searches and submit the hiring report.
May-August: After the hiring report is submitted, the Dean’s Office enters the upcoming year’s hiring plan requests (based on the Search Approval cases in Interfolio)
July-August: The Provost approves the hiring plan.
July-August: Once approved, the hiring plan numbers are sent to departments with a prompt to submit advertisement via Interfolio for official approvals (see the 'Create a Position' user guide for details).
