Graduate student employees are represented by the United Auto Workers (UAW) Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA/contract) and overseen by the Graduate School. The CBAs with this group generally run for three years. The CBA contains salary minima for salaried TA’s and RAs with the option for units to pay more. There are also wage minima for reader, graders and tutors. Additionally, there is a mandatory 3% COLA each July 1st of the contract.
