- Access the System
	
- Navigate to the Promotion & Tenure landing page
 - Log in using your UW NetID
		
- If you do not have access and need it, reach out to CAS Personnel Team
 
 - If affiliated with multiple units, select the unit matching the candidate's home unit
 
 - Candidate Information
	
- Enter the candidate's EID or name
 - Click "Initiate Case"
		
- Important Note: When this is clicked, it will automatically generate a PDF referred to as the Candidate Data Sheet. This PDF needs to be saved and uploaded as part of the required documentation.
 
 
 - Review and Update Data
	
- Left Box: Workday Data
		
- Review all data fields
 - Note: If changes are needed, update in Workday first, then return to this form
 
 - Right Box: Editable Fields
		
- Update fields as necessary
 - APF may predict some responses, but you can modify using dropdown menus
 
 
 - Left Box: Workday Data
		
 - Submit the Case
	
- After completing review and updates, click "Submit"
 
 - Confirm Case Creation
	
- Log in to Interfolio
 - Your case should appear within approximately 5 minutes of submission
 
 - Edit Case Steps
	
- Once created, navigate to the "Cases" section of Interfolio and find the case.
 - Identify the appropriate case and click the name
 - Once the case is open, click "Case Options" in the top right corner and choose "Edit Case" from the drop down menu
 - Click the "Case Review Steps" link on the right side of the page
 - Edit steps 1 through 5 to add departmental reviewers.
 
 
Remember: Ensure all Workday data is accurate before initiating the case to avoid delays or complications in the process.
