Before submitting a promotion recommendation to the College, departments should review the following elements in the employee's Workday record for accuracy:
- Education History
- Ensure a complete and accurate record of the employee's educational background
- Start and End Dates
- Verify that all academic appointments and job profiles reflect actual start and end dates
- Joint Appointments
- Confirm accurate representation of any joint appointments
- Dual Appointments
- Typically adjunct appointments*
- FTE, Roster Percent, and Tenure Values
- Update to accurately reflect the employee's current status
- Waiver Years
- Ensure any clock waivers are correctly recorded in the Promotion Clock Waiver Year(s) custom object
Beyond Workday updates, ensure the candidate is compliant with:
- Outside Professional Work Policy (Executive Order 57)
- Verify documentation (Form 1460) is complete and up-to-date
- Title IX Employee Training
- Confirm completion of the Husky Prevention & Response Employee course
*Important Note: Avoid offering new adjunct appointments during the promotion/tenure review period, as it may cause delays in the review.
