Donor Recognition

The University of Washington administers several recognition societies aimed at honoring and celebrating our friends, supporters, and volunteers across the university.

The President's Circle is an expression of the University's gratitude for those donors giving to support the University annually. There are several recognition levels, with corresponding memberships and benefits:

Membership in The President's Circle begins at $2,000+ each year ($500+ each year for donors age 35 and under.)

Extraordinary generosity equals extraordinary impact. The UW honors the generosity of supporters who have made cumulative gifts and pledges totaling $100,000 and up with special recognition.

The Henry Suzzallo Society honors and celebrates the alumni and friends who make a commitment to support the University through a planned gift (bequest, annuity, trust, life insurance policy or other deferred gift.)

The Gates Volunteer Service Award is presented annually by the University of Washington and the UW Foundation to recognize and honor individuals whose long-term contributions of time, service and philanthropy have encouraged others to support the UW as well.
