Your individual department is encouraged to send regular, personal gift acknowledgments to your donors. Your department and faculty often have the closest and most meaningful relationships with our donors and their families, and although tax receipts are sent by the University and gift acknowledgments are also sent from Dean Harris on behalf of the College, it's often your specific department or center that your donors most want to hear from.

Please contact the Advancement Services team anytime at casadser@uw.edu with questions or for more information about thanking and acknowledging gifts.
