The UW's online Beneficiary Portal tool helps to automate the student thank you letter collection process. The tool allows departments to communicate with student recipients through customized requests and collect letters through an online form. It makes it easy to review the responses and share them with your donors by printing the letters onto letterhead or displaying them online for donors in their My UW Giving portal.

UW Endowment & Donor Services team provides training and support for Beneficiary Portal. The CAS Advancement Services team coordinates several group training opportunities each year, or you can reach out to central Endowment & Donor Services to schedule a personal one-on-one or group-setting training at any time by emailing donorsvc@uw.edu.

Helpful Tip: If you'd like to be able to share copies of the messages you send to students through Beneficiary Portal with advisors, be sure to check the box to BCC yourself on all emails at the top of the "Manage Your Messages" page. You can then forward your copies of those messages with colleagues.
